Yolande Josette Saint-Fleur, of Danbury, CT, passed away peacefully at Filosa Nursing Home on Tuesday September 20, 2022. She was 75 years old.
Born on October 29, 1946 in l’Anse-a-Veau, Haiti, daughter of the late Joseph Maignan and Wilda Girand. Yolande completed a certificate of Proficiency in Bookkeeping and Accounting.
Yolande was married to the love of her life Henry Saint-Fleur. He predeceased her on October 23, 2006. Her passion in life was caring for many children over the years. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved the beauty of nature- flowers and gardening. In her free time, she also enjoyed sewing.
Yolande is survived by her loving children; Melissa Otero and her husband Edwin of Danbury, CT, Marie Riviere and her husband Stephane of Waterbury, CT, James Saint-Fleur and his wife Ta Tanisha of Greenville, DE, Carl-Henry Saint Fleur and his wife Tatiana of Coral Springs, FL, and Henry-Claude Maignan and his wife Islande, her many grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. As well as her siblings; Gladys Maignan Valme. She was predeceased by Jean Claude.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 23, 2022 at 10:30am at St. Peter’s Church (104 Main St, Danbury). Interment will be private. A celebration of life will be held prior to the Mass at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street, Danbury) from 9am-10am.
