William E. Fry, Sr.

William E. Fry, Sr. of Danbury, CT, died peacefully at Bethel Healthcare Center on Wednesday October 25, 2023. He was 89 years old.

Born on June 18, 1934 in Danbury, CT, son of the late Arthur and Susan (Lang) Fry. He married the love of his life, Ida Conklin on April 15, 1961.

William was a truck driver for many years with a lumber company before retirement. He was an avid Mets fan, loved fishing and enjoyed the races at the Danbury Fair.

William is not only survived by his loving wife Ida, but also his children; Nancy and her husband Ed, William and his wife Tanya and June, his grandchildren; Jessica, Eddie, David, Nicole, Kayla, Tiffany, Alexis and his great grandchildren Jayden, Gabbie, Jesiel, Alanie, Lily and Jeremiah and his brother Richard. He was predeceased by his siblings; John, Dorothy, Nellie and Eva.

Services will be private.  Danbury Memorial Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
