Walter (Beanie) Schimanskey III began his next adventure on February 2, 2024.
He was born to Walter A Schimanskey Jr. and Arlene (Gillotte) Schimanskey on May 20, 1952 and was the eldest of seven boys in their family.
Beanie was always there to help with anything mechanical on cars to electrical or plumbing at home, sharing his knowledge and experience in both, and would lend his time in a moment’s notice. Although very private, he would do anything for his brothers and family. His passion was tractor-trailers (Rigs) and he most wanted to be on the open road, playing his favorite country music all the way. He became an independent truck driver until he retired.
Beanie will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Walter is now reunited with his brothers: Carl B. Schimanskey, Robert J. Schimanskey, and Alan M. Schimanskey; as well as his loving parents.
His spirit is carried on in the hearts of his brothers: Richard J. Schimanskey (Tary), Paul A. Schimanskey (Zelia), and Gary V. Schimanskey (Kim); as well as his five nieces and nephews and eleven great-nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
A graveside service will be held on May 24, 2024 at St. Peter's Cemetery at 11am. All are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you instead make a memorial contribution to a cause you’re passionate about in Beanie’s name.
