Vilas Bhavsar passed away on April 23rd, 2025. She was born on February 7th, 1935, in Valsad, India, to Chhaganlal and Kashiben Bhavsar.
She passed away at the age of 90, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Ishwarlal Bhavsar and a devoted mother to Raxa, Upma, the late Bhavna, Hina, Kamal, and Jignyesh. Vilas was also a cherished grandmother to Seema, Harin, Bhavika, Purva, Reema, Reeya, Nigam, Mohit, and Yashvi, and a beloved great-grandmother to Aarav, Darsh, and Meher. She was a loving mother-in-law to Trupti, Tejal, Nisha and to the late Rajnikant, Naresh, Nitin, Niraj, Sohil, and Ujjval.
Vilas lived a life full of love and dedication to her family. She was a deeply religious person with immense faith in Shri RajShayamaji, Shri Prannathji, Shri Baijurajji. She found joy in singing and reading religious literature, and she loved sharing explanations of Paramdham and Shri Tartam Vani with anyone who would listen. Vilas was a determined woman with strong willpower, facing life's challenges with grace and resilience. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, and she will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
A prayer service will be held on Friday, April 25th from 8:30am to 10:30am at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT. 06810) with a procession to Stone Family Crematory (125 Bullet Hill Rd. N. Southbury, CT. 06488) to immediately follow.
