Victoria M. Flint, fondly known as "Vicki", passed away peacefully on October 10, 2020 in her own home in Danbury, CT. Vicki was born on January 14, 1949 in Manhattan, NY to the late Edgar Maurice Flint and Marie Louise Smith Flint.
Vicki was a graduate of Ardsley High School and a proud alumnus of Mt. St. Vincent College of Bronx, NY. She was a skilled and devoted scientist whom specializing in enzyme research for Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals.
Vicki was known to many as a peacemaker, lover, and truth seeker. She was a determined woman who was a prevalent participant in many peaceful protests, for both human and animal rights. Vicki was a proud Irish American and a staunch supporter of the united Ireland. As an animal lover, she was a lifelong protester for animal rights and volunteered for many years at D.A.W.S. in Danbury, CT.
She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend. She cherished her nightly phone calls with her best friend Kathy Gemmell, and her nieces and nephews were the lights of her life. In times of hardship, she found extreme comfort in her catholic faith. She will be dearly missed.
Vicki is survived by her beloved sister Kathleen Joye, nephew Patrick, niece Sheila, niece Evelyn, and niece Juliana. As well as her best friend Kathy Gemmell, and additional family members and friends. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her brother Edward, brother John, and her beloved black cat “Moon Shadow”.
