Varisht N Nellicherry (Brookfield, CT) died at the young age of 20 years, leaving behind lovely memories to cherish forever. He was born on April 9th, 2000 at the Danbury Hospital and graduated from Brookfield High School in 2018. Varisht was an athletic scholar and part of the High School football program for all his 4 years there. He was also a Summer Camp Counselor at YMCA Brookfield in 2015-2017.
Varisht was doing Political Science undergrad at UConn, Stamford while working as a part-time teller at Savings Bank of Danbury, New Milford branch. Varisht was a gentle, kind-hearted and loving boy. He had a beautiful vision for a borderless world without any religious boundaries, where food, shelter, education and clothing were freely available for everyone as per their individual needs and interests. His vision included freedom of thought and the ability for every one to pursue their likes and interests without any worry about livelihood. With his departure New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, Liverpool and BarStool have all lost an ardent fan.
Varisht's memories will forever be cherished by his parents (Natarajan Nellicherry and Shantha Harihararaman) and his loving sister Maathangi Nellicherry along with a closely knit family of two grand mothers, three aunts, an uncle, eight cousins, friends and extended family spread across all continents. We are looking to establish a High School scholarship to honor Varisht's memory. Please reach out to varisht.scholarship@gmail.com for more details.
