Vanessa Ananias Obituary

Vanessa Andrade-DeSouza Ananias, of Danbury, CT, passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side on September 12, 2024. She was 52 years old. 

Vanessa was born on June 11, 1972 in Itajuba, Brazil, daughter of the late Jose DeSouza and Maria Andrade. Vanessa married the love of her life Marcio Ananias on December 15, 1990. In 2008 they settled in Danbury, CT, and established a cleaning company together.

Vanessa was a strong-willed person; she never gave up no matter what obstacles stood in her way. She always found a reason to smile and be happy. Vanessa loved being with her family and friends. She was an active member of Christian Community church, and was greatly loved by many people in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Brazil. Vanessa loved to cook for her friends and family, and also enjoyed shopping.

Vanessa will be greatly missed by all who know her. She is survived by her loving husband Marcio, her son Matheus and his wife Natalie and her grandchildren; Elijah and Zoe. She was predeceased by her sister Eliane.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Monday September 16, 2024 from 5pm-7pm at Christian Community Church (52 Stadley Rough Road, Danbury, CT 06811) with a service beginning at 7pm. A private cremation will follow.

Vanessa nasceu em 11 de junho de 1972 em Itajubá, Brasil, filha dos falecidos José DeSouza e Maria Andrade. Vanessa se casou com o amor de sua vida, Marcio Ananias, em 15 de dezembro de 1990. Em 2008, eles se estabeleceram em Danbury, CT, e fundaram uma empresa de limpeza juntos.

Vanessa era uma pessoa de força de vontade; ela nunca desistia, não importava quais obstáculos surgissem em seu caminho. Ela sempre encontrava um motivo para sorrir e ser feliz. Vanessa amava estar com sua família e amigos. Ela era um membro ativo da igreja Christian Community e era muito amada por muitos em Connecticut, Massachusetts e Brasil. Vanessa amava cozinhar para seus amigos e familiares e gostava de fazer compras.

Vanessa fará muita falta a todos que a conhecem. Ela deixa seu amado marido Marcio, seu filho Matheus e sua esposa Natalie e seus netos; Elijah e Zoe. Ela foi precedida em morte por sua irmã Eliane.

Uma celebração da vida será realizada na segunda-feira, 16 de setembro de 2024, das 17h às 19h na Christian Community Church (52 Stadley Rough Road, Danbury, CT 06811) com um culto começando às 19h. Uma cremação privada será realizada em seguida.
