Van Ven, 82 years old, of Naugatuck, Connecticut, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family. Born on January 1, 1942 in Battabong, Cambodia.
He is survived by his loving wife, Yom Kleang, his three children, Vy Ven, Rin Le, Ry Ven and his 13 grandchildren. His departure leaves an unfillable void in their lives, yet they find comfort in the memories and everlasting love he shared.
Van, as well as his extended family come from a line of survivors, fleeing Cambodia during a time of war. Van’s true legacy lives on as a protector who kept his entire family together safely.
We will honor him with utter respect and dignity by keeping his resilience alive.
