Valerie Lynn Rindom, a resident of Danbury, CT, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2024, at Danbury Hospital, at the age of 72.
Born on December 11, 1951, in New Haven, CT, Valerie was the daughter of the late Angelo James and Sarah (D’Agostino) Prodoti. She graduated from Bethel High School in 1969 and pursued her passion for cosmetology by attending cosmetology school.
Valerie built a fulfilling career as a hairdresser, eventually becoming an editorial stylist. She dedicated many years to C&C Unisex, starting from its inception at the mall. Valerie cherished her work, particularly the opportunity to mentor new hairdressers and connect with her clients, always striving to make them feel beautiful.
Outside of her career, Valerie had a zest for hosting and hospitality. She delighted in preparing delicious meals for gatherings and parties. Valerie's love for the 70s era, evident in her music choices and vibe, stemmed from her experience attending Woodstock in 1969, an event that left a lasting impact on her life.
Valerie is survived by her beloved son, Ryan, her siblings Michael Prodoti and Frances Russo, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother James Prodoti.
A celebration of Valerie's life will take place on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street) from 6 pm to 8 pm. Interment will be held privately.
