Tomas Santiago

Tomas Santiago, of Danbury, CT, died peacefully at River Glen Nursing Home on October 22, 2023. He was 83 years old.

Tomas was born on December 29, 1939 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, son of the late Pedro Guzman Santiago and Luisa Maria Silva. Tomas was married to the love of his life Flora Cruz. She predeceased him in 1989.

Tomas is survived by his loving children; Judith Santiago and her husband Evaristo and Tommy Santiago and his wife Leiby, his three grandchildren; Melanie, Sophia and Tommy Jr and many dear family and friends.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Thursday October 26, 2023 from 10am-11am at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street, Danbury). A celebration of life service will begin at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery (Bethel, CT).

Tomás nació el 29 de diciembre de 1939 en Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, hijo del fallecido Pedro Guzmán Santiago y Luisa María Silva. Tomás estaba casado con el amor de su vida Flora Cruz. Ella falleció antes que él en el 1989.

A Tomas le sobreviven sus amados hijos; Judith Santiago y su esposo Evaristo y Tommy Santiago y su esposa Leiby, sus tres nietos; Melanie, Sophia y Tommy Jr. y muchos queridos familiares y amigos.

Se llevará a cabo una reunión de Celebración de la Vida el jueves, 26 de octubre del 2023 de 10a.m. a 11a.m. en la Funeraria Danbury Memorial (117 South Street, Danbury). Una celebración del servicio de vida comenzará a las 11 a.m. en la funeraria. El entierro será en el Cementerio de Elmwood (Bethel, CT).
