Timothy D. McCulloch, of Danbury, CT, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025 at Danbury Hospital. He was 81 years old.
Born on March 10, 1944 in Manhattan, NY, son of the late Ellen and Charles McCulloch. He was raised in Putnam County for most of his youth before moving to CT. Tim honorably served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam era.
Tim was married to Helen Grey of Scotland who predeceased Tim after 10 years of marriage in 1978. He met his second wife Cathy Itri at the Red Lion in Ridgefield, CT. They married in 1983, enjoying 33 years together before her passing in 2016.
One of Tim's greatest passions in life was golfing. He loved the sport. He also enjoyed reading and watching history programs. He had a great love for learning new things and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. One of Tim’s greatest accomplishments in life was his 40 plus years of sobriety. Tim was actively involved in AA and was a friend and mentor to many.
Tim is survived by his stepchildren; Nicholas D’Ostilio (daughter-in-law Debbie Custodio), Rosemarie Adams (son-in-law David Adams), his grandchildren; Gabrielle, Rebecca and Nicholas D’Ostilio and Nellie Adams. His niece Ranna and nephew Peter. He was predeceased by his first wife Helen, his second wife Cathy, his beloved infant son Michael Craig and his siblings Dennis McCulloch and Carol Lanagan.
