Thomas Joseph Langyel passed away on July 15, 2022 in Danbury, CT. He was born on October 24, 1971 in Danbury, CT to the late Edna (Sayers) Langyel and Andrew Langyel. Husband of Rosa Marlene Aveiga Avila.
Thomas was a fun loving, outgoing character with a contagious smile. He was known for always being a jokester and brought laughter of all who knew him. At a young age he found his passion for his dirt bike and began to race BMX bikes. He did so all around Connecticut and even received number seven of the state of Connecticut in his class.
As he got older he liked to go fishing and hunting, especially bow hunting. One Thanksgiving, much to the surprise of his family, he brought home his own turkey. He found great joy in providing for his family and brought home many deer over the years for them to enjoy together.
When he wasn’t in the woods, Thomas enjoyed going for rides in his Jeep and on his scooter. He loved to be outdoors or work around the house and was able to turn that love into a career by working at Home Depot for many years. He had a bright personality and will be deeply missed.
Thomas is survived by his beloved wife Rosa Marlene Aveiga Avila, his sisters Edna Kappes, Debbie Flemming, Linda Hull, Laurie Langyel, Kimberly Langyel, Marie Langyel and Joanne Langyel as well as many nieces and nephews.
