Terence Magann

Terence A. Magann ‘Terry’, of Danbury, CT, died peacefully with his family by his side on March 29, 2023 at Danbury Hospital. He was 74 years old.

Born on August 17, 1948 in Harlingen, TX, son of the late John M. and Allene (Jeffrey) Magann. Terry honorably served in the US Army from 1966-1969. He met the love of his life Theresa Calbo in 1999. Tess and Terry, after many years together finally got married on May 17, 2013.

Terry worked for CT Natural Gas for over 30 years before retiring as a mark out representative. He was an avid Mets fan and loved watching their games. He also enjoyed watching the Commanders (aka the Redskins). Terry enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. In his younger years he spent a lot of time just relaxing with a good book.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Tess, his stepchildren; Michael Herrington, Corey Herrington (Pam) and Kyle Herrington (Allison), his grandchild; Jackson Magann and Jackson’s mother Mary George, his step grandchildren; Johnathon Herrington, Brianna Herrington and Kara Herrington and his brothers; Jack, Mike, Pat and Gary. He was predeceased by his son Kerry Magann.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday April 21, 2023 at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street, Danbury) from 5pm-7pm with a service beginning at 6:30pm. Interment will be private. To send condolences to the family please visit, www.danburymemorial.com
