Teolinda Del Carmen Espinal Espinal, of Danbury, CT, died peacefully with her family by her side at Danbury Hospital Center on August 3, 2022. She was 92 years old. Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic daughter of the late Amable Victorina Espinal and Maria Teolinda Guzman. Teolinda was married to the love of her life Erasmo Espinal. Erasmo predeceased his wife on March 9, 2004.

Teolinda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy. She always enjoyed cooking for the family and hosting large family gatherings. Teolinda had an amazing sense of humor, she always made you laugh. She had words of encouragement for all and had a positive outlook on life.

Teolinda is survived by her loving children; Zaida, Jose, Nereida,Juana, Anjelina, Miguel, Rafeal, Celio, Ramona, her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings and her son Juan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 11, 2022 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Golden Hill Road, Danbury, CT. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Danbury, CT. A gathering of life celebration will be held on Wednesday August 10, 2022 from 5pm-8pm at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home, 117 South Street, Danbury.

Teolinda Del Carmen Espinal Espinal, de Danbury, CT, murió en paz con su familia a su lado en el Danbury Hospital Center el 3 de agosto de 2022. Tenía 92 años. Nacida en Santiago, República Dominicana hija del difunto Amable Victorina Espinal y María Teolinda Guzmán. Teolinda estuvo casada con el amor de su vida Erasmo Espinal. Erasmo falleció antes que su esposa el 9 de marzo de 2004.

Teolinda fue una amorosa esposa, madre, abuela y bisabuela. Su familia era su orgullo y alegría. Siempre disfrutó cocinar para la familia y organizar grandes reuniones familiares. Teolinda tenía un sentido del humor increíble, siempre te hacía reír. Tenía palabras de aliento para todos y tenía una visión positiva de la vida.

A Teolinda le sobreviven sus amados hijos; Zaida, Jose, Nereida, Juana, Anjelina, Miguel, Rafeal, Celio, Ramona, sus muchos nietos y bisnietos. Le antecedieron en muerte sus hermanos y su hijo Juan.

Se celebrará una misa de entierro cristiano el jueves 11 de agosto de 2022 a las 10 a. m. en Our Lady of Guadalupe, Golden Hill Road, Danbury, CT. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de St. Peter, Danbury, CT. Se llevará a cabo una reunión de celebración de la vida el miércoles 10 de agosto de 2022 de 5:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en Danbury Memorial Funeral Home, 117 South Street, Danbury.
