Tamra was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. Everyone knew that Tamra was diminutive in height at 4 '8 & ¾”, a point she never failed to emphasize, but tall in her love for her children. She enjoyed writing and artwork, having written and illustrated a few children's books in her younger days, along with the creative process of different types of crafts. Sunflowers were her favorite flower, picnics with beef stew her favorite scene and she was a Disney movie fanatic. Every holiday was celebrated with its colorful decorations ever present and enjoyed. Tamra was an active member of her church and participated in Bible Study for numerous years.
She is not only survived by her parents; but also, her children; Miranda, Franklin, Adriana, Jason and Elijah, her sister Ann Marie Freygang of Torrington, CT and her aunt, Ruth Gregory of Danbury, along with her numerous cousins, nephew and friends. She was predeceased by several aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday May 11, 2024 from 10-11:15 am at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street, Danbury CT) with a service beginning at 11:15am. Interment of her ashes will follow in the family plot at Great Plains Cemetery.
