Susan Janice Rossire Haghpanah

Susan Janice Rossire Haghpanah, age 63, formerly of Easton, Connecticut passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 surrounded by all of her loving family. Susan was born in Huntington, Long Island, New York to the late Dorothy Susan Rossire (Cornell) and Jean Jacques Rossire.

She was a graduate of Wilton High School and Western Michigan University. She was a member of the Eastern Stars, volunteered for multiple children’s hospitals and was very involved in her daughters’ school and ballet dancing programs.

She was an avid skier, in her younger years, and an accomplished linguist. She was fluent in multiple languages including French, Russian and English.  She enjoyed singing, ballet, knitting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved animals, especially her Golden Retriever, Rusty, Coker spaniel, Honey and Dachshund, Jax.

Susan is survived by her Beloved husband Mohammad Hassan Haghpanah, three daughters; Michelle Haghpanah, Jennifer Haghpanah, and Nicole Haghpanah, two granddaughters, grandson and soon to be welcomed granddaughter.

A funeral will be held at Jesse Lee United Methodist Church (25 Flat Rock Rd Easton, Connecticut) on Friday September 17th, 2021 at 10AM followed by burial at Aspetuck Cemetery (Black Rock Turnpike Easton, Connecticut).
