Spencer Hill Obituary

Spencer Ellis Hill passed away on June 26, 2020 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury Connecticut.  Spencer was born on February 5, 1947 in Danbury, CT to the late Marion (Miller) Hill and Willie Hill. Spencer spent the early part of his life growing up in Ridgefield, CT attending Ridgefield Public Schools and playing sports.

Spencer was an intelligent man who loved to spend his free time doing activities that would engage his mind. He loved to play chess, complete crosswords, and cheer on his favorite sports teams. He was a man of few words and little patience but was very passionate about expressing his point of view.  He was a well-cared for and beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and so much more to those who loved and knew him. Spencer will be dearly missed.

Spencer is survived by his beloved children: son Donald Hill (wife Melvette), daughter Brieanne Hill, and stepdaughter Paulette Barnes Rogers (husband Dave); Six Grandchildren: Michael, Melanie, Micaiah (wife Jessica), Mikayla, Kaleb, Ethan, and his great-grandson Josiah. As well as his brother Peter Hill (wife Maryann); Nieces and nephews: Erica, Peter, Alanna, Alicia and grandnieces Kiera and Karlee.

A private service will be held by his family.
