So King Ma, of Danbury, CT, passed away peacefully at Bethel Healthcare Center with her family by her side on November 9, 2023. She was 87 years old.

Born on December 8, 1935 in Canton, China, daughter to the late K.C. Ma and W. Wong. So King was predeceased by her husband Joy Hong Chu.

So King is survived by her loving children and spouses; Jennie Chu-Chan, Peter Chan, David Chu Alice Chu-Chau, Annie Chu, Wai Keung Chu, Winnie Chu-Porricell, Donald Porricelli, Bonnie Chu-Paulino, and Secundino Paulino.  She is also survived by her grandchildren and spouses; Joyce Chan-Crocker, Scott Crocker, Kim Chan, Joey Chu, Kenneth Chu, Philip Yan, Cindy Wu-Yan, Patrick Yan, Michelle Yan, Stefanie Dos Santos-Quinones (Joe Quinones), Calvin Paulino, Kayla Croft-Paulino, and Emmi Paulino.

Services will be held at the Danbury Memorial Funeral and Cremation Service at 117 South St, Danbury CT 06810 on November 14th, 2023 from 9:30 am-10:30 am. A cremation ceremony will be held following the funeral home service at Brookside Memorial Crematory at 11:00am.
