Sharon Lynn LaRussell, of Brookfield, CT, died peacefully with her family by her side at 66 years old on June 4th, 2025.
Sharon was born on March 6, 1959 in Port Chester, NY, daughter of Florence (DiRoberto) LaRussell and the late Leonard LaRussell. Sharon graduated from Danbury High School in 1977 to then continue her education for cosmetology, which was her passion.
Sharon opened her own salon Sharon’s Styles over 20 years ago. Her work as a hairstylist extended beyond cuts and colors, as she curated incredible relationships with all of her many clients. Her hobbies included reading, gardening and baking treats to share with others. She loved to travel, especially to anywhere that was warm with a beach.
Sharon had a large, but close group of friends that she loved to spend time with. She was a fabulous hostess for all of her friends and family, with the natural ability to put together beautiful, warm gatherings where she was always the life of the party. Her vibrant personality shined in any room she stepped in, always knowing how to find fun and laughter in any situation.
Sharon is lovingly survived by her siblings; Valerie LaRussell and husband Greg Martino; Wendy Barnum and husband John; as well as Leonard LaRussell and wife Michelle. Her nieces and nephews; Julia Barnum, Zachary LaRussell and Brandon LaRussell.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church for her family and friends in honor of Sharon’s request. To send the family condolences please visit www.danburymemorial.com (http://www.danburymemorial.com/).
