Sharon Johnson Collins passed away on July 19, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Sharon was born on November 5, 1932 in Fresno, California to the late Betty Lee (McKeighan) and Col. Floyd M. Johnson.
Sharon, aka Mom, Shannon, Grandma, Shasha, was a vibrant woman who had a great sense of humor. She loves gardening, cooking; especially with her grandsons, spending time with family, friends and our huge extended family. She loved to visit her sister, Michelle, in Antigua and her Curtain Bluff family who meant so much to her. She loved being around people and listening to music of all types. She loved going into New York City for Broadway Plays, shopping and dining at some spectacular restaurants.
She was filled with the Holy Spirit and believed Jesus as her Lord and Savior we know she is now resting in the loving comfort of God. She shared her love of Jesus with the many people who came into her life even if just a day, a week, a month to 53 years!
Sharon is survived by her loving children Denise Kammer (Michael Greene), Nicki L Collins, Timmy C. Kidder (David), S. Michael Collins (Beverly) Dawn Barrett (Jim), and Mary Plunske, her siblings Michelle Hulford and Loryn Bryce Johnson as well as her much loved grandchildren, Eric Kammer (Lindsay), George Dance, Erica Viesturs (Norman), Jason Greene, Matthew Dance (Morgan), Sean Barrett, Christopher Collins, David Plunske, Benjamin Collins and her great grandchildren Chiarra Dance, Johnny Dance, Owen Dance and Ella Dance. Many nieces and nephews too many to mention but they know they are loved, including Brooke Henri, (Justin and their two children, Molly and Claire Henri.)
Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Floyd and Betty, her husband, Frank M Collins, her grandson Alexander M Collins, and nephew L Bryce Johnson.
