Serge Grenier, 66, passed away peacefully on November 7th, at his home in Sherman, with his beloved daughter by his side. He was born in Quebec, Canada to Lucia and Armand Grenier, and was the youngest of seven brothers. Serge was the epitome of the American Dream: he married the love of his life, built his own home, and owned a successful roofing and restoration business.
An adventurous soul, he traveled throughout most of Canada and to all 50 States (49 on his motorcycle). He will be remembered as a loving husband and was especially devoted throughout his wife’s battle with Neurological Lyme Disease. He was a dedicated father, a master of his trade, and avid Harley Davidson rider.
Serge is preceded in death by his wife Nancy, his parents, and brother Michael. He is survived by his daughter Breezy and her husband Mark (Portsmouth, RI); his brothers Donald (Las Vegas), Vee and Robert (Danbury), Richard (Sherman), and Marcel (New Milford), along with their partners, and several nieces and nephews. Due to Covid restrictions, his funeral service will remain private.
