Sandra Jean Peck ‘Sandy’, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family on July 16, 2025. She was 64 years old.
Born on September 26, 1960 in Danbury, CT, daughter of the late George and JoAnn (McCormack) Pomeroy. She was a graduate of Brookfield High School.
Sandy met and married the love of her life Wayne Peck. Sandy was a jack of all trades, she was a bookkeeper, a caregiver and a homemaker. She always put others first and always had a smile on her face. She was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest.
Sandy loved primitive antiques. She enjoyed dancing, especially to her country music and listening to live music with friends. She especially loved listening to the local band The Rakes. She shared a special bond with her beloved German Shepherd, Gunnar, who brought her endless comfort, companionship, and joy. He was her loyal shadow and a constant source of love.
Sandra is survived by her beloved husband Wayne, her son; Tyler Peck, her good boy Gunnar; her daughter; Meghan Barret; her grandchildren Kayla and Kyle, her siblings; Joseph Pomeroy, Karen Pomeroy (Steve Foberg) and her nieces and nephews; Robert Repko (Mariah), Ashleigh Repko, Kyle Pomeroy. She will be missed by many.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on August 13, 2025 at 10:30am at St. Peter's Church (Main Street, Danbury). A repass will follow at Sandy's brother Joe's house in Brookfield, CT, all are welcome to attend. Danbury Memorial Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
