Sandra Lennane

Sandra Maryann Lennane moved onto her next adventure on November 16th, 2024. She was born on May 14th, 1943 in Manhattan, NY to Glen Hanlin and Rosalind Burtaccio. Married to Andrew Lennane (predeceased).

She grew up in Danbury and graduated Danbury High School in 1961. Sandy’s passions were cooking, baking, and being around family. It was not unusual for the Lennane’s to have a full house of family and friends.  She loved to watch horror movies, but never alone. Listening to her favorite music, specifically Elvis and dragging anyone to the dance floor. Drinking frozen mudslides, in Aruba, on her birthday. But most of all, Sandra will be remembered for how proud she was of her two grandsons, Alex and Andrew.

Sandra is survived by her loving family and by all those she came to call her friends.

A graveside service will take place for Sandra on Friday, November 22 at 1:00pm in St. Peter’s cemetery (71 Lake Ave Ext.) in Danbury.
