Salvatore A. Passarelli

Salvatore A. Passarelli, 86, of Southbury CT formerly of New Milford CT, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2020 in the comfort of his home. Salvatore was born on September 18, 1934 in Sanfili, Italy to the late Giovanni and Christine Passarelli and immigrated to the United States when he was 17 years old.

“Sal” as he was known to all, worked for Peckham Industries for 35 years putting in many long, hard hours with the company. He was a member of the Lions Club of New Milford for many years and was a recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow award for spearheading the pizza sales at the Village Fair Days.  

Sal leaves behind his loving wife Catherine of 67 years as well as his children: Leonard, Christine, Cathy (Joe) DiFabbio, Salvatore Jr., Marco (Susan Acosta). As well as ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and family.
