Salomon Aguirre Obituary

Salomon Aguirre passed away peacefully in the early hours of Saturday June 4th, 2022, due to complications from a stroke a few weeks prior. He was 47.

Salomon was born in Metapan, Santa Ana, El Salvador to Eva Angelina and Andres Aguirre. He had a happy childhood there with his parents and siblings. At the age of 17, Salomon joined his brother in the United States taking up residence in New York and Connecticut working as a landscaper. He loved to be outdoors and took pride in his work. Salomon remained in the U.S. until the time of his passing but would travel to his home country often to see his family.

Salomon was a fun guy –he was always laughing and had lots of friends around him all the time. He loved to dance and celebrating his birthday was something he always looked forward to – the more balloons the better! He was a very gentle and kind person. Futbol (American soccer) was his passion. He played with his friends very single week, and his favorite team was Barcelona.

But more than anything in the world, Salomon loved his daughters Kimberly (10yrs) and Angelina (5yrs); they were the light and joy of his life. Along with his daughters, Salomon is survived by his father Andres, sisters Arminda and Gloria, and his brother Silas. He also leaves behind Milagro Quijada, his girlfriend and mother of his two beautiful girls.

During the last month of his life, Salomon's brother Silas and sister-in-law, Paulette were by his side every day keeping him company and praying with him while he was in the hospital.

On May 8th, 2022, Salomon gave his heart to God accepting Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of his life. While he always trusted in God, Salomon made an official decision to accept God’s gift of salvation that day with Silas holding his hand. A beautiful moment shared between brothers. Salomon is now rejoicing in Heaven as the Lord welcomed him home.

A memorial service honoring Salomon’s life will be held at Brookfield First Church (133 Junction Road, Brookfield, Connecticut 06804) on Wednesday June 15th, 2022, from 6pm-8pm.

Salomon's body will be laid to rest in his hometown of Metapan in El Salvador.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given at the memorial service to the trust fund set up for Salomon's daughters.

To light a candle in his memory or leave a condolence, please visit the Tribute Wall at the top of the obituary page.
