Rosangeles Carrasquillo passed away on December 27th, 2025. She was born on October 13th, 1958 in Santo Domingo to Isabel Lozano de Nuñez and Bienvenido Nuñez.
Rosangeles is survived by her son, Joseph Carrasquillo and her parents Jovina Estefani-Aponte and Russell Aponte. She is also remembered by her siblings: Marisol Natera, Leonte Mejía, Luis Nuñez, Elizabeth Nuñez-Mercado, Bienvenido Nuñez Jr., Steve Nuñez and Jahaira Vega.
We lovingly remember Rosangeles, known to us as Nana, a devoted mother, daughter and nurturing sister with a tender heart. She was a constant presence in her family’s life, always offering love, care, and support.
Rosangeles loved God and His Word, drawing strength from her faith. Her faith was evident in her kindness, patience, and grace. She enjoyed reading and cherished time spent with her family. Her kindness, gentleness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT. 06810) on Wednesday, December 31st, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, with a service to begin at 12:30pm.
Rosangeles Carrasquillo falleció el 27 de diciembre del 2025. Nació el 13 de octubre de 1958 en Santo Domingo, hija de Isabel Lozano de Nuñez y Bienvenido Nuñez.
Le sobreviven su hijo, Joseph Carrasquillo, y sus padres, Jovina Estefani-Aponte y Russell Aponte. También la recuerdan con cariño sus hermanos: Marisol Natera, Leonte Mejía, Luis Nuñez, Elizabeth Nuñez-Mercado, Bienvenido Nuñez Jr., Steve Nuñez y Jahaira Vega.
Recordamos con amor a Rosangeles, conocida por nosotros como Nana, una madre, hija y hermana dedicada y cariñosa, de un corazón tierno. Fue una presencia constante en la vida de su familia, siempre brindando amor, cuidado y apoyo.
Rosangeles amaba a Dios y su Palabra, y encontraba fortaleza en su fe. Su fe se reflejaba en su bondad, paciencia y gracia. Disfrutaba de la lectura y valoraba el tiempo que pasaba con su familia. Su bondad, dulzura y amor incondicional serán profundamente extrañados y recordados para siempre.
Se llevará a cabo una celebración de su vida en la Funeraria Danbury Memorial (117 South St., Danbury, CT 06810) el miércoles 31 de diciembre, de 11:00 a. m. a 1:00 p. m., con un servicio que comenzará a las 12:30 p. m.
