It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Ronald Abreu, age 53, of Danbury, CT. Ronald passed away, peacefully, on July 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Ronald was born on August 20, 1971, in Spanish Harlem (El Barrio), NYC, to Victorio Arroyo Abreu and Ana Diaz Velazquez. He was a graduate of Seward Park High School in the Lower Eastside of Manhattan. Ronald worked as a coordinator at My Eye Doctor and at MCCA as an administrative assistant. He loved watching his NY Mets and Dallas Cowboys games, he enjoyed cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Lourdes. He is predeceased by his son Ronald Martin and his siblings Victorio Jr., Yolanda and Selena. He is survived by his daughter Analia, her brother Andrew, his siblings Elba, Wally, Steve, his stepchildren Janelle and Angel Jr., his 7 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ronald was LOVED.
Ronald gave his best gift after his passing - he gave the gift of life by donating his organs.
