Roberto Antonio Gonzalez

Roberto Antonio Gonzalez passed away peacefully on October 27, 2020 at his home in Danbury, CT. Roberto was born on February 25, 1945 in Santiago, Dominican Republic to the late Juan Gonzalez and Maria Graciela Aracena-Gonzalez. 

Roberto had a great love for his family and was known for his jokes and pranks. In his free time he loved to dance to merengue and bachata music, often pulling his family members in to dance with him.

Roberto is survived by his children: son Gilberto Gonzalez, son Jose Gonzalez, daughter Xiomara Gonzalez, and stepson Francisco Gonzalez. As well as nine siblings, and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Roberto is predeceased by two siblings. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday October 30, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (29 Golden Hill Rd, Danbury CT) at 11 a.m., burial will follow at Wooster Cemetery in Danbury CT.

Roberto Antonio González falleció el 27 de Octubre de 2020 en su casa en Danbury, CT. Roberto nació el 25 de Febrero de 1945 en Santiago, República Dominicana hijo de Juan González y María Graciela Aracena-González.

Roberto tenía un gran amor por su familia y era conocido por sus bromas y travesuras. En su tiempo libre le encantaba bailar merengue y bachata, y a menudo invitaba a los miembros de su familia a bailar con él.

A Roberto le sobreviven sus hijos: Gilberto González, José González, Xiomara González y hijastro Francisco González. Además de nueve hermanos y muchas sobrinas, sobrinos y nietos. Roberto es fallecido antes por dos hermanos.

Se llevará a cabo una misa de entierro cristiano el viernes 30 de Octubre de 2020 en la iglesia Our Lady of Guadalupe (29 Golden Hill Rd, Danbury CT) a las 11 a.m., el entierro seguirá en el cementerio Wooster en Danbury CT.
