Robert A. Recio (A.K.A. Papa) peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on September 10th, 2024. He was born on February 12th, 1926 in Havana, Cuba to Fernanda B. Recio and Waldina Perez.
Robert worked as a Tool and Die Maker for Branson Ultrasonics until his mid-70’s. He loved photographing special moments for family, community members, and church activities. Robert enjoyed spending time working in his garage with his many tools fixing and making things for the house. Most importantly, he was very loving to all his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He would bother the little ones so much they would run away.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Maria L. Recio; their children, Robert Recio Jr., Brenda and Steve Bumbala, Terry and Andrea Kayser, Lisa Ridgeway, and Milagros and Tishay Johnson. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews, and all those he came to call his friends.
A burial will be held for Papa on Friday, September 20th at 1:30Pm in St. Peters Cemetery in Danbury, CT. To light a candle or to send a condolence in his memory please go to the tribute tab.
