Robert E. Cole, Jr.
November 16, 1960 – March 15, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert E. Cole, Jr. at the age of 64, on Saturday, March 15, 2025, after a long and difficult battle with congestive heart failure and other health complications.
Born on November 16, 1960, in Danbury, CT, Robert was the son of the late Robert E. Cole Sr. and Norma Cole.
Robert is survived by his two daughters, Tiffany Cole (Ronnie Priar) and Lindsay Sarles (Roger Sarles), as well as his beloved grandchildren, Javon Priar, Sharee Priar, and Brooklyn Sarles. He is also survived by his separated spouse, Mary Cole, along with numerous siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Rob lived in Danbury until 1999, when he and his family relocated to New Milford. Known for his strong work ethic, Robert proudly served as the team leader of the Grounds Department at Danbury Hospital for over 35 years, before retiring early due to health reasons. His dedication and commitment to his work were deeply respected and appreciated by all who knew him.
In his final months, Robert was lovingly cared for by his daughter Tiffany and his grandchildren, Javon and Sharee, who cared for him with unwavering devotion and honor.
A small memorial service to honor Robert’s memory will be held at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT.) on Saturday, March 29th from 10:00am to 12:00pm with Words of Remembrance to take place at 11:30am.
