Richard A. Pawloski ‘Dick’, a lifelong resident of Bethel, CT, died peacefully at his home in his most favorite chair on June 13, 2022. He was 75 years old.
Born on May 16, 1947 in Danbury, CT son of the late John and Gertrude (Vigna) Pawloski. Dick was a graduate of Bethel High School. He was a proud member of the Army reserves. With assistance from his aunt, Dick married the love of his life Shirley Domain on December 31, 2000, their love story began in high school when he knocked her books out of her hand.
Dick was the proud owner and operator of John J. Pawloski Lumber Inc. in Bethel, CT. He grew up working with his father and took over the business after his retirement in the 80’s. He loved antique trucks and cars. Dick enjoyed making apple jack and moonshine with his family. Richard was a down to earth person, he always made friends and was an overall good person.
Dick is not only survived by his wife Shirley but his step children; Raymond Demers and his wife Lisa of Bethel, CT, Jennifer Biscow and her husband Adam of Bethel, CT, Jeffrey Demers and his wife Fran of Bethel, CT, his step grandchildren; Allison, Jamie and her husband Brian, Matthew, Ryan, Jessica, Jack and Brendan and his step great grandchildren; James David and his brother John. As well as his three beloved dogs: Lucy, Ethel, and Fred.
