Randall James Wade

Randall (Randy) James Wade Jr. passed away on December 13, 2020, just seven days after his 48th birthday. Randy was born to Randall and Georgiana Wade in Pottstown PA. Randy attended Fitch High School in Groton Connecticut, received his teaching certification from Southern Connecticut State University, and earned his Master’s Degree from Fairfield University. Randy led a successful career as an art educator for the Danbury Public School District in Danbury Connecticut for 20 years. 

He is survived by his wife Rachelle Wade and leaves behind many people who adored him, especially his beloved children, Miles and Ellis.  Randy is also survived by his father and step-mother Lori, mother and step-father Mike Ellis, his sister Veronica Cousins and brother Bart Crossman and wife Brianna, and 6 nieces and nephews.

Randy will be remembered by his many friends and family for his wonderful sense of humor, his “You get what you get and don’t get upset” attitude, his compassion, and his understanding of others. Even though he never believed he was “Kind of a Big Deal,” he really was. In his children’s eyes he was inspirational, very good at drawing and making up new characters, kind, loving, and a hero at heart. If you had the pleasure of being Randy’s friend you are truly one of the lucky ones. A celebration of life will be held at a future time.
