Peter Joseph Neville, 72, of Bethel, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at home on January 21, 2026.
Peter was born on November 5, 1953, in Manhattan, New York. He was the beloved son of the late Thomas and Alice Neville.
Peter grew up in Rockaway, NY, one of nine children, and attended Power Memorial High School, where he ran track. He proudly served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and later retired from Federal Express after 40 years of service.
Peter was married to his loving wife, Maureen, for 37 years. He was a proud father to three daughters, Lauren, Jennifer, and Christine (Mike), and a cherished grandfather to his granddaughter, Delaney.
He is also survived by his sisters Alice Mary, Betty (Tim), and Kathleen (Pat), and his brother Billy (Tina), as well as many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He was predeceased by his sisters Joanne, Christine, and Ellen, and his brother Thomas.
Peter was known and loved by many for his ability to make people laugh. He’d entertain you with a song or a dance and always be sure to offer you a Budweiser. In the summers you’d find him seeking out the party at the FGF which was one of his favorite places to be. His singing and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
