Peter Efremidis

Peter Efremidis, of Danbury, CT, went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2023 with his beloved family by his side. He was 91 years old.

Born on June 17, 1932 in Kastoria, Greece son of the late Konstantinos  and Despina.

Peter married the love of his life Mary Sabbagh on April 21 1961. Peter and Mary enjoyed many adventures together, always being by each other’s side. They loved and supported each other through all of life’s obstacles.

Peter was the owner of Ridgefield Pizza. He loved to garden and spend time outside, and when the gardening is finished, he loves quality time with his grandchildren.

Pete is not only survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary, but also his sons; Kosta Efremidis and his wife Christina, George Efremidis and his wife Julie, his grandsons; Panos, Matthew and Nick and his siblings; Bandely (Lisa), Berthena.

A visitation will be held Monday December 11, 2023 at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (30 Clapboard Ridge Road, Danbury, CT) from 10AM – 11AM with the funeral service to begin at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Wooster Cemetery in Danbury, CT.
