Patricia 'Patty' C. Gabriel

Patricia Carla Gabriel left this earth and became an Angel with all those who left before her on August 10, 2024. She was 76 years old. Patty lived life to the fullest and never gave up on any of the battles she was faced with, including being a two-time breast cancer survivor.

Born on July 21, 1948 in White Plains, NY, she was the daughter of the late Clement R. and Gloria R. (Hamann) Rozanski. Patty was a graduate of White Plains High School.

Patty married the love of her life Ralph A. Gabriel on January 10, 1971. After they married, they moved to Port Chester, NY and raised their daughter. Ralph predeceased his wife on April 12, 1983. Ralph was waiting for Patty and walked her into her life eternal.

Patty was a senior associate with MBI for over 30 years before finally retiring in 2019. Patricia was an active member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church all her life, it was her families church and as she grew up, she remained active there.  Her passion for knitting and crocheting not only filled her life with joy but others as well, she made gifts for those who were sick or in the hospital. Patty was a person who once you met her you had a friend for life, she was caring, compassionate and always wanted to help others.  She had a wonderful laugh that could light up a room. Her zest for life and strength will be greatly missed by all who know her.

She is survived by her best friend and daughter Gloria R. Gabriel, her nieces and nephews; Clement W. Bailey, Daryl D. Bailey and Dale C. Bailey, Carole Ann Belfiore, Wayne C. Rozanski and Kaitlin C. Rine and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her siblings Muriel Hansen Bailey and Clement B. Rozanski and her nephew Herbert C. Bailey.

A celebration of life gathering will be held in honor of Patty on Thursday August 15, 2024 at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street) from 4pm-7pm with a homegoing prayer service being held at 6pm.
