Pamela Jean Torres

Pamela Jean Torres (60), a resident of Pine Plains, NY, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT. Pamela was born in Libertyville, IL and grew up in LaCrosse, WI. She was the daughter of Charles and Shirley (Kish) Chase. 

Pamela was a registered nurse and beloved by the patients she helped through the years. She loved camping and enjoyed many adventures while traveling around the country with her dear husband who passed away in 2011. Her home was filled with cherished pets and she loved being surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Pamela enjoyed music and spending time with friends whenever she could. She was compassionate and she tried to support people in her community and beyond. Pamela is survived by her daughter, granddaughter and sister.

A memorial service will take place when there are no longer any health risks associated with public gatherings due to the COVID-19 outbreak. She wishes to be interred with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC (details to be determined after the public health crisis).
