Omar A. Guzman of Danbury, passed away on December 16, 2024. He was born in Danbury, Connecticut to Angelica Almonte and Jose Almonte.
Omar, a man of many words and passions. He was a loving father, brother and son. He loved meeting new people, making new friends and exploring life. He was a beloved USPS mail carrier, chef, and a collector. Graduate of Henry Abbot Tech, Omar had a passion for automobiles. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to music, learning new things, and watching movies.
Omar had a great sense of humor and always wanted to make you laugh. He strongly believed that a positive mindset made peace in your life.
He is survived by his daughter Graziela Guzman, mother Angelica Almonte, father Jose Almonte, sisters Angie Guzman and Tania Radcliff, brothers Jose Luis and Manny Almonte, his nieces and nephews; Brianny, Nayelies, Leah, Aria, Elliot and Julian.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT.) on Thursday, December 19th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held the following day (Friday, December 20th) at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (29 Golden Hill Rd. Danbury, CT.) at 10:00am. Internment will follow at Wooster Cemetery (20 Ellsworth Ave, Danbury, CT)
