In Loving Memory of Natasha Rochelle Ashe Worthington...

Natasha Rochelle Ashe Worthington (better known as "Tasha") received her wings and became an Angel rejoicing with the Lord and her beautiful beloved mom in Heaven on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in New Haven, CT where she currently resided.

Tasha was born in Danbury, CT on August 30, 1970 as the daughter of Arnold James Worthington and the late Delpatricia Arnette Ashe Worthington.  She attended the Danbury Public School System and graduated from Danbury High School in the Class of 1989.  She was employed at Danbury Hospital as a Dietary Aide for 20yrs. 

She collected stuffed animals, enjoyed going to the beach (being by the water brought her peace.)  Her niece, nephews and her Godson Allen were her heart.  She adored them as if they were her own children. Cynthia, Lorraine and Dwayne were her best friends, that were more like her siblings.  They shared and created many special moments together.  She was a true FOODIE!!! She loved good tasting food, especially soul food. Tasha and her cousin Lisa Farmer had a precious loving bond, that nurtured when Tasha entrusted Lisa to be the advocate for her care. But, most of all she loved God!!! She praised him, had her own personal relationship with him and was faithful.  Her favorite quote was "God Has A Blessing With My Name On It" and her favorite Gospel song was "We've Come This Far By Faith."

In addition to her father, Tasha is survived by her sister Tanya Nicole Worthington, niece Tiana Rangel, nephews Javier Worthington, Isiah Rangel, Azariah Rangel and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, in which she had special loving individual relationships with (especially her Aunt Jackie, Aunt Joyce (who was a cousin, she referred to as Aunt), Uncle Greg, Uncle Alsey and cousins Angela, Regina, CeeCee, Tashaunda, Jamil & Jeanette.) Tasha is predeceased by her mother.

To know Tasha was to love her....You were blessed with her kindness, beautiful smile and sweet spirit.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday February 7, 2020 at New Hope Baptist Church (12 Aaron B Samuels Blvd, Danbury, CT 06810) at 11:00 AM.
