Monique Chantelle Spruill, age 54, was born on October 12th, 1970, in Danbury, CT. She was the daughter of Gwendolyn Spruill and the late Lawrence Johnson. Monique graduated from Adult Education in Waterbury CT. Monique was a CNA for 30+ years and last worked with (Harbor Village). Monique’s greatest passion in life was spreading love, laughter, and joy to the people around her.
Monique often took road trips with her cousins to visit family in Georgia and Alabama. She loved to sing, especially her favorite song “I am your woman” by Syleena Johnson. She loved being around her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, she would feed anyone that came into her house. She loved to make those around her laugh with her humor and facial/body expressions. Most of all she loved being with her two boys, they brought her happiness, peace, and joy.
Monique is survived by her loving sons; Marquel Spruill and Marquez King, and her beloved 3 brothers and sister; Ray Anthony Spruill, Corey Spruill, Tremayne Johnson, Kimberly Dillard. She was pre deceased by her niece Coreyann Marie Spruill. She was also survived by 5 Nieces and Nephews; Corey Xavier Spruill, Cierra Spruill, Marcus Spruill, Coreyanna Spruill and Cyrus Spruill, as well as a great niece Steyanna Spruill. She was also survived by her beloved 4 Aunts and 4 Uncles. She will be missed by army of cousins, and missed by many friends.
A Homecoming Service will be held on Friday May 30, 2025 from 11am-12pm at Victory Christian Center (23 Eden Drive, Danbury)
