A woman once said, “Never be angry. Angry can only bring more pain.” That woman was my mother-n-law, Molika Teng. Molika Teng, May 5, 1956 – April 22, 2021, Glastonbury, CT
Molika laid to rest peacefully surrounded by her family as we all should when our time do come. She lived a fulfilling life as a grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved to garden, take extreme long walk no matter the weathers, taking care of the yard year-round and large family gathering. Molika is survived by the loving Cambodian Buddhist community in Danbury and her daughter Molilin Dy and Devoted Nieces Buoy Ly Kor and Saline Steele.
She will be missed by all those who loved her. We will cherish and honor her in our memory and the legacy she left behind. She now went to a better home and will wait for us when our time is near. Mom, we will see you soon. Till then, all Molika wants from each one of us is to be happy and not morn for her in sadness. Molika wants us to embrace life as she embraced life with optimism, joy, and love even at our worst time. For those who wish to honor her, you may do so by making a donation to PREAH BUDDHA RANGSEY TEMPLE OF CONNECTICUT (62 Sleepy Hollow Dr. Danbury, CT 06810)
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Thursday April 29, 2021 from 8:30am - 10:30am at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT) with Cremation to follow at Brookside Crematory (200 Benson Rd.
