Michael Richard Barton

Michael Richard Barton, age 58, of Danbury, CT, passed away suddenly on December 11, 2025.  He was the husband of Monica (Macedo) Barton.

Michael was born October 22, 1967 in Danbury, CT to Harold Barton and the late Kathryn (Hill) Barton.  He graduated from Abbott Technical High School in 1985 and worked for 21 years for Ethan Allen on their photo sets.  In his early years, Michael was a dedicated bodybuilder winning many trophies and awards and also enjoyed the martial arts. Mike’s greatest pleasure was caring for his dogs that he loved and adored throughout the years. 

Michael is survived by his wife Monica; his stepson Kaique; his father Harold Barton, his sister Lisa Matturro and her husband Andrew and their 3 children AJ, Amanda and Douglas; his sister Kim May and her husband; his Aunt Shirley Hill and his cousins Susan Hill and Michelle Jewell.

He was predeceased by his loving mother, Kathryn (Hill) Barton and his Uncle John Hill. 

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Tuesday, December 16th, 5:00-7:00 PM with a Prayer Service at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home 117 South Street Danbury, CT 06810/
