Mearl Alexanderia Murphy Martin passed away on June 9, 2022 in Danbury, CT. Mearl was born on December 27, 1941 in Rock Cottage, Charles Town, St. Mary, Jamaica to the late Estella (Henry) and Deriah Martin.
Mearl is survived by her loving children Michael Murphy, Edwin Murphy Jr., Jacqueline Murphy, Cosset Murphy, Ava Gaye Murphy and Oneil Murphy. She is also survived by her siblings Deriah Martin and Jabez Martin as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at New Hope Baptist Church (12 Dr Aaron B Samuels Blvd, Danbury, CT 06810) on June 21st from 10am to 11am with a Homecoming Service starting at 11am. Burial will take place in Jamaica.
