MaryAnne Cummings

MaryAnne Cummings, of Bethel, CT, died peacefully with her family by her side on October 1, 2023. She was 70 years old.

Born on May 3, 1953 in Danbury, CT, daughter of the late Antonio and Effie (Romaine) Donato. She graduated from Danbury High School.

MaryAnne married the love of her life Patrick on May 4, 1994. She was a school bus driver for over 25 years with the Danbury Public Schools. MaryAnne enjoyed her career driving school buses and interacting with the children daily. MaryAnne had a heart of gold, she always put others first. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially ‘The boys’, her two grandsons whom she “loved to the moon and back”. MaryAnne enjoyed spending time in the casinos and playing the slots. She loved animals and angels. MaryAnne also loved cleaning and organizing.

Mrs. Cummings is survived by her loving husband Patrick, her children; Misty Murphy and her husband Robert, John Cummings and his wife Betsy, Kimberly Cummings and
Darlene Cummings, her beloved grandsons; Benjamin and Jacob and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her 7 siblings.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday October 18, 2023 from 5pm-7pm at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street, Danbury). Interment will be private.
