Marion Helen Tobin passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Danbury Hospital at the age of 97. Marion was born in 1922 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to William and Gladys McMenamey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph V. Tobin, Sr., and son, Brian William Tobin.
Marion was a devoted wife and mother who was happiest spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by her son, Joseph Tobin, Jr., and his wife, Sharon, and daughter, Barbara DeRubertis, and her husband, Ralph, all of Bethel, Connecticut.
Marion is also survived by her grandchildren: Scott DeRubertis and his wife, Shannon, of Bethel; Ryan DeRubertis and his wife, Nicole, of Temecula, California; Justin DeRubertis and his wife, Kristi, of Coconut Creek, Florida; Crystal Chandler and her husband, James, of Oxford; Brian William Tobin, Jr. and Joseph Robert Tobin of Georgia; and Marshall Tobin and Autumn Tobin of Bethel. She also had seven great-grandchildren: Adriana, Alyssa, Mason, Luke, Riley, Jack, and Dean DeRubertis.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Claire Quigley, and Gladys Rose. Marion is survived by her brother, William McMenamey, and his wife, Shirley, of Trumbull and her sister, Virginia Maloney, of Southbury as well as her many nieces and nephews.
