Obituary

Mariano Canales Hernandez passed away on June 5, 2022 in Danbury, CT. He was born on April 17, 1945 in La Union, El Salvador to the late Epifania (Canales Villatoro) and Benancio Hernandez Mejias. Husband of Isalinda De Canales Alves.

Mariano was a bright spirited man who touched the lives of every person he met. He was a friend to everyone and never met a stranger. He was a man full of love. He delighted in sharing his love of life with others and always tried to make people smile. Above all things though, he loved his family. Mariano was a family man through and through and nothing made him happier than spending time with his family.

Mariano is survived by his loving wife Isalinda De Canales Alves, his beloved children William C. Aviles, Joaquin Aviles, Edgar Aviles, Ruben Aviles and Deyries Canales Aviles. He is also survived by his siblings Aquiloino Canales Hernandez, Francisco Canales Hernandez, Antonio Canales Hernandez, Santos Lino Canales Hernandez, Rufino Canales Hernandez. and Maria Audelin Canales Hernandez as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mariano was predeceased by his son Elvis Aviles and his siblings Alejandro Canales Hernandez, Mingo Canales Hernandez, Reyna Canales Hernandez and Irma Canales Hernandez.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT) on Monday June 13, 2022 from 5:30pm – 8:00pm with a prayer service to start at 7:00pm. Burial will take place in El Salvador.

Mariano Canales Hernández falleció el 5 de junio de 2022 en Danbury, CT. Nació el 17 de abril de 1945 en La Unión, El Salvador, hijo de Epifania (Canales Villatoro) y Benancio Hernández Mejías. Esposo de Isalinda De Canales Alves.

Mariano era un hombre de espíritu brillante que tocó la vida de cada persona que conoció. Era amigo de todos y nunca conoció a un extraño. Era un hombre lleno de amor. Le encantaba compartir su amor por la vida con los demás y siempre trataba de hacer sonreír a la gente. Sin embargo, por encima de todas las cosas, amaba a su familia. Mariano era un hombre de familia de principio a fin y nada lo hacía más feliz que pasar tiempo con su familia.

A Mariano le sobreviven su amada esposa Isalinda De Canales Alves, sus amados hijos William C. Aviles, Joaquin Aviles, Edgar Aviles, Ruben Aviles y Deyries Canales Aviles. También le sobreviven sus hermanos Aquiloino Canales Hernandez, Francisco Canales Hernandez, Antonio Canales Hernandez, Santos Lino Canales Hernandez, Rufino Canales Hernandez. y María Audelin Canales Hernández, así como muchos nietos, sobrinas y sobrinos. Mariano fue precedido en muerte por su hijo Elvis Aviles y sus hermanos Alejandro Canales Hernandez, Mingo Canales Hernandez, Reyna Canales Hernandez e Irma Canales Hernandez.

Se llevará a cabo una reunión de celebración de la vida en Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT) el lunes 13 de junio de 2022 de 5:30 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. con un servicio de oración que comenzará a las 7:00 p. m. El entierro se llevará a cabo en El Salvador.
