Maria Luisa Burgos passed away on April 16, 2026. She was born on September 6, 1975, in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, to Santiago and Nilda Rodríguez. Maria was a kind, gregarious, and vibrant woman who brought light and laughter wherever she went. She loved connecting with people, keeping in touch with her many friends and acquaintances, and never missed an opportunity to share a laugh. Known for her sense of style, Maria had a sharp eye for beauty and trends while always staying true to herself.

Above all, Maria was a devoted and active mother to her only daughter, Kayla Hernandez. She showed up with love, strength, and unwavering support, helping shape the woman her daughter is today. She was also a deeply loving and proud grandmother to her cherished granddaughter, Demi Thomas, who brought her endless joy. Maria’s love for her was constant, tender, and unmistakable.

Maria will be remembered for her generous spirit, warm heart, and the deep love she had for her family and friends. Her presence left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

She is reunited in eternal rest with her father, Santiago Burgos. Maria is survived by her loving daughter, Kayla Hernandez; her mother, Nilda Burgos; her sisters, Diana Burgos, Maria Burgos, Christina Burgos, and Vanessa Burgos; and her beloved granddaughter, Demi Thomas.
