Maria C. Marques

Maria C. Marques, of New Milford, CT, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026. She was 90 years old. 

Born on April 10, 1935 in Porto, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Fernando Tavares DaSilva and Florinda da Concepcion Ribeiro DaSilva. 

Maria is lovingly survived by her children; Maria Pereira and her husband Victor and Miguel Marques and his wife Lucia; her grandchildren; Kiara Lette (Cole), Matthew Marques, Michael Marques, Monica Santos Marques, Fernando Miguel Marques, Arturo Miguel Marques. She was predeceased by her son Fernando DaSilva Marques.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2026 from 11am-12pm at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street). A private cremation will follow.
