**August 17, 1949 – January 18, 2025** It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Maria Clotilde Goncalves on January 18, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on August 17, 1949, Maria was a woman whose love, kindness, and faith touched everyone around her. Her family and friends were her greatest treasures, and her unwavering devotion to them will be deeply missed.
Maria leaves behind her devoted husband, Jose Goncalves, her children Ivone Ribeiro and Tony Goncalves, Ivone’s husband Felipe Ribeiro, and Tony’s wife Sonia Goncalves, her grandchildren Kellie Goncalves Grissett, Brianna Ribeiro Thomas, Philip Ribeiro, her two great-grandchildren Adelina and Olivia, her sister, her niece and nephews and extended family. She was the heart and soul of her family, offering endless love, guidance, and support throughout the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maxemina Felizes and Alfredo Felizes, and other loved ones who now greet her with open arms in eternal peace.
A faithful member of the Jehovah’s Witness community, Maria's life was rooted in her love for Jehovah and service to others. She dedicated herself to her congregation, where she was known for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help anyone in need. Her deep faith and the peace it brought her were an inspiration to all who knew her, and we are forever grateful for the support and love of her spiritual community, especially in her final days.
Maria’s gentle spirit and compassionate nature made her a cherished friend and confidante to many. She had an innate ability to make others feel valued, loved, and cared for. Her laughter, warmth, and kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Maria's love and light will continue to shine in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her extraordinary kindness. She will be forever missed, but never forgotten. May she rest in peace.
