Lynette M. Davis

Lynette M. Davis passed away peacefully on April 28, 2021 at Yale Hospital in New Haven. Lynette was born on October 17, 1957 in Marianna, FL to the late MaryAnn Davis.

Lynette was a caring soul who loved her family above all else, especially her grandchildren who were her greatest joy. In her past years she worked for Danbury public school for Headstart and a caregiver for several years. She enjoyed cooking, going to the beach and sitting outside spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She loved to watch CSI Miami, Cheaters, and the cooking channel.

Lynette is survived by the father of her children Herman Spruill Jr. and Beloved children Cassy Spruill (Damon Yates), Amesha Davis, Herman Davis, and Baycel Davis, her siblings Gregory D. Davis, Karen Davis, Avery Rhym, her late brother Leonard Rhym Jr., Michael Rhym, and Wendy Rhym. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Dymeir, Dalan and Caden Yates, Amajah Brandon, Azaire King, Adrionna Davis and Justin Davis. She also had two godchildren Shaheem Davis and Kaleigh Reign and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at The Mount Pleasant A.M.E Zion Church (69 Rowan St. Danbury, CT) on Thursday May 6, 2021 from 10 – 11 am with a prayer service from 11am – 12pm.
