Born on March 6, 1948 in Detroit, MI, daughter of the late Joseph and Faye (Sagnelli) Dellaventura. Lucille attended and graduated from Rippowam High School followed by graduating from hairdressing school.

Lucille, lovingly known as Lulu, was always well put together, taking great pride in her appearance and personal style. Throughout her life, Lucille worked in retail before transitioning to childcare, later retiring from her role at the YMCA daycare. Her love for babies never faded, and in her later years, Lulu continued nurturing others by becoming a nanny — something that brought her great joy. Lucille cherished spending time with her husband, especially their visits to Mohegan Sun Casino and watching Connecticut Sun basketball games together. Known for her cooking and baking, Lucille lovingly hosted many gatherings, holidays, and celebrations, welcoming family and friends into her home with warmth, laughter, and love.
Lucille is lovingly survived by her children; Joanne Ofiero (Jason Leonard) and John Ofiero; siblings; Michael Dellaventura, JoAnn Dellaventura and Diane Smith. She was predeceased by Joseph Dellaventura and Sandra Ginicola.
